How to submit RxDC Files Yourself
Prescription Drug Data Collection (RxDC) submissions involve multiple steps
Establish CMS User Account
Navigate to the CMS.gov New User Page: IDM Self Service (cms.gov)
Enter contact information
Use work email address
Request Access to HIOS
Navigate to CMS Enterprise Portal - My Portal
Request access as HIOS User
Enter personal information including Social Security Number
Get access to your organization.
Navigate to CMS - prod - Sign In
Determine if you Organization Exists and Build it if needed
Request access to your organization after it exists
Assign yourself access to the RxDC Module
Navigate to CMS - prod - Sign In
Request Company Administrator Role
After approval for Company Administrator Role
Request access to the RxDC Submitter Role
Build your P2 file and any additional files
Any submission requires a P2 - Plan List
Submit files through RxDC Submission Module
Convert files to CSV
Submit files via RxDC Module
Correct Errors
Collect Submission ID associated with your submission
